Retirement Protector Trust™ (aka “Retirement Plan Trust”): A revocable or irrevocable trust that is drafted to be either the primary or contingent beneficiary of a retirement account or several retirement accounts. The trust is designed to allow a successor Trustee to stretch out a retirement account on behalf of one or more of the beneficiaries of the trust and provide creditor protection of the retirement account(s) for the beneficiaries after they inherit them.
