Linda J. Sinclair is Of Counsel in the Trust Administration department of Geiger Law Office. She works with clients to help them comply with the legal requirements and deadlines involved in administering Trusts. This process is multi-faceted and may, depending on the details of the Trust and Trust assets, include notification to and communications with beneficiaries, heirs, creditors, governmental agencies, tax advisors and other counsel; marshalling of assets; transfer of title to assets; preparation of deeds and related documents for real property; liquidation of assets; preparation of documents related to distributions to beneficiaries; consultation with and advice to clients regarding their duties as Trustee; and numerous other actions that may be required to properly administer a Trust.
Linda earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1989. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1989. Linda practiced with large law firms for 31 years, representing a variety of clients, including professionals, businesses and high-wealth individuals, in civil litigation, risk management, dispute resolution and appellate matters. After briefly retiring in 2020, she welcomed the opportunity to work with Geiger Law Office in assisting clients navigate through what can be an emotional and stressful process after the death of a loved one.
When not working, Linda enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering with non-profits, hiking, adventuring and reading.
